Individual Therapy

For adults ready to move past feeling stuck.

Therapy here isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sessions can be 30, 45, or 55 minutes — and how often you come, and for how long, depends on you: your goals, your needs, your life.

Most people start with more frequent sessions and gradually space them out as they build skills, gain confidence, and need less support. That’s the goal — not to keep you in therapy forever, but to walk with you until you can fly solo. And if life throws something at you down the road, you’re always welcome back.

Your first session is about getting to know you. You’ll share what’s going on, we’ll talk through your needs, and by the end you’ll have a clear picture of what treatment could look like and what we’d be working toward together. No vague plans — real goals, real direction.

Maintenance sessions are also available once you’ve met your goals — periodic check-ins to fine-tune skills and stay on track.

This might be a good fit if you:

  • Are motivated and ready to work for the life you want
  • Want your beliefs and values respected in the room
  • Value honesty and transparency about your treatment
  • Are trying therapy for the first time — or giving it another shot
  • Want a professional setting where a laugh is still welcome, because life is already hard enough
  • Believe in the power of community and want to heal not just for yourself, but for the people around you

Fee: $150 per 55-minute session. Session length and frequency discussed at intake. Free 15-minute consultation available. Sessions in English or Spanish.

Therapy Groups

Connection and growth, together.

Sometimes the most powerful thing in a room is knowing you’re not the only one. Therapy groups at Vamos are a space to practice new skills, hear other perspectives, and grow alongside people who get it.

Groups are available in English and Spanish. Details on current and upcoming groups — topics, schedule, and enrollment — coming soon. Contact us to be added to the interest list.

Consultation

Clinical guidance for those who want to understand.

Consultation sessions are for anyone who wants to go deeper on a mental health topic — not therapy, but focused, practical information from a clinical perspective.

Past consultation requests have included schools learning how to support a student with OCD, therapists seeking a case consultation (not supervision), and family members or friends trying to understand what their loved one is going through. If you have a specific need, reach out — if it can be addressed in a consultation format, we’ll make it work.

Karin also offers presentations and trainings on topics including cultural awareness, emotional support, communication, and community support. If you have a topic in mind, let’s talk.

Fee: Varies depending on the scope of the request. Contact for details.

For Therapists — Spanish Practice Sessions

Build confidence practicing in Spanish.

These sessions are designed for therapists who want to feel more comfortable working with Spanish-speaking clients — whether that means building clinical vocabulary, practicing how to explain a concept, or simply getting more fluent in the language of the room.

Available as one-on-one sessions or in a small group format, with flexible scheduling to fit around your caseload. Both structured and open-ended options are available depending on your goals.
